3A Composites PNG Balsa Ltd. is a 3A Composites Core Materials balsa wood company in Papua New Guinea. Established in 1997, the Papua New Guinea operation is a fully integrated balsa grower and a manufacturer of sustainable balsa composite materials, the BALTEK® core.
Our balsa is 100%-plantation grown on the company’s land holdings and in long-term partnership with local landowners who value balsa as a sustainable crop. It is our company’s stringent policy never to clear virgin rainforest for new planting.
All 3A Composites Core Materials managed plantations are FSC®-certified and all our balsa wood products can be ordered as FSC®-certified.
The Papua New Guinea operation supplies BALTEK® composite materials to our industrial customers worldwide.
